🕑 Added 2021-02-12 19:19:38 +0000 UTC I am feeling a little stressed today. I’ve had a turbulent start to my month and with taxes around the corner, I’m feeling a little unstable. Not to mention this is the coldest month of the winter, it’s not even safe to go vacation somewhere warm, and I’ve been isolating now bc of the pandemic for almost one whole year.
So I’m being extra mindful of my breath lately - using it to connect to the moment in front of me and let go of the tension in my body. We carry tension in some weird places, especially when stressed. My jaw is almost always tense, as are my forehead, neck, and my shoulders. We gotta be conscious of dropping the weight we’re carrying.
Breathe in peace with me today, yeah? And breathe out your tension. Let go of the certainty we think we have about what’s in front of us, and embrace the possibility of something new. ✨
