I am doing a process called βTsujigahanaβ, which means drawing with pine soot. Soot is an organic carbon material produced by the incomplete burning of organic matter. People used to tattoo with soot as an ancient practice! Itβs so very cool. Itβs so dark and dense like charcoal.
