1. Make two calendars. One for the serious stuff, and one to postpone anything you don't feel like doing. It works without fail!
2. Write lists. Even if it's just two things: “wake up” and ”be a goddess.” The key is to cross things off! It gives you a sense of control.
3. Don't do everything yourself. Delegate. To your wife, your husband, your friends, your cat, the universe. Someone will get it done.
4. Pretend to be busy. No one will delegate extra if you look super focused and slightly annoyed.
5. Drink water. It keeps you from forgetting you're human!
6. Turn off notifications. Who hasn't gotten around to it... messenger messages you haven't seen yet.
7. Allow yourself to do nothing. It's called “active rest.” Yes, lying face down in a pillow is a strategy, not procrastination.
8. And remember, you're not Wi-Fi. You don't have to be available everywhere at once. Especially for other people's dramas.
