But it also makes me think when we should blindly “respect” someone and when respect should be earned. Shouldn’t it always be earned? Is there a better word that people mean when they use that word (e.g. follow, obey, subordination)?
Then again, it was a scene on a TV show that triggered this thought, not a real life event lol. So take this /r Shower Thought with a grain of salt.
