24:09: 3 to 5 chapters in one episode is rare even for seasonal anime. Most do 2 to 3 when the manga is weekly(average 15~20 pages each chapter), when it's monthly(40~50 pages), like for example, Attack on Titan, they do 1 chapter each episode. One Piece (a weekly manga) has been doing 1 or less manga chapter for each episode since Amazon Lily arc, in the 400's, and never got over 1 chapter again. It's never explained, but my guess at times like this is that the target (Kizaru, at this time) used his fruit to remodel his body and avoid the hit, just like Katakuri did against Luffy. Because it's hard to believe experienced fighters like Sentomaru, or even Whitebeard when he stabbed Aokiji in the Marineford Arc, would simply attack logia users without haki.

One Piece manga chapters are pretty dense. At this point they are adapting one chapter per episode. Honestly, if they tried to adapt more than one chapter per episode then there would be too much in an episode and it'd feel rushed.

I think right now it's like 0.8-1 chapter per episode which is nice. Toei locked tf in after the break and even the filler stuff feels very very natural. Animation is fucking nuts as always, because the animators have rested
