Oda had to nerf Sanji more so he made Pudding take his memories. I hope he gets them back at some point and his behavior changes to that of doting only on Pudding but still being insanely caring and respectful of other girls.

I just watched Film Gold reaction. Petition to watch One Piece movie 6 Baron no Matsuri it’s a must watch and it’s number 1 One Piece movie for me even though it’s one of the older movie that was released in 2005.

I think when Vegapunk said to Bonney "that's pain", he was not saying it was emotional pain. He was trying to trick her into not touching it. Hence why she said she knows Kuma's technique too well and knew it was not pain in there, but his memories.

I honestly don't think i have the mental fortitude for Kuma's backstory that snippet was hard enough to watch as it is i cant imagine how it would be for a child to witness their parent suffering either. For me the way i like to view Sanji's annoying simp moments is he is just coping and he actually still remembers Pudding somehow. (It's the only way i can keep my eyes from rolling out of their sockets at this point haha)

I don't get why people complain so much about the Sanji stuff WHEN it's a miniscule thing like the dog scene. In the manga he says "You can consider me your loyal dog!", so the anime just added a scene of him doing what he said to fill out time. It dosen't ruin Sanji at all either it's just a funny scene

The whole Sanji barking and acting like a dog is anime only, he doesn't do that in the manga, and it's one of the arguments people have against Toei for purposefully ruining Sanji's image

usual Toei-Sanji bs aside, Kuma's voice actor in his flashback had one of the most amazing performances I've ever heard, it's just soooo well-done, the sadness and desperation in his voice, the way his voice was cracking, etc. literal goosebumps And yes, this is only the tip of the iceberg. It was like Kuma giving Zoro a portion of Luffy's pain in Thriller Bark, before he absorbed it all and nothing happened. Approximately that level lol
