I kinda wish they didn't sub her name as No.7 cause her actual name is literally Nanago which implies her being number 7 but she isn't actually called Number 7. If that makes sense

Fun fact: Nemu’s name is significant. “Nemuri” roughly means “sleeping” so when Mayuri started his research he named it the “Sleeping” project. Also the short “Nemu” name was often treated as a her character being too relaxed and calm in horrible situations among the community. BUT here we see that her full name is “Nemuri No. 7”. Thus it turns out that Nemu is actually the result/acknowledgment of mayuri’s accomplishment. “And during that time..Captain Kurotsuchi lives his dream”
