I dont know if you like the idea, but you could finish your other shows after SAO season 1, like watching Dr. Stone season 3 or Fire Force season 2 and then get back to watch SAO season 2 onwards

Personally i would like to see this continue, i enjoy the quips you both have esp about the sister/cousin lol, Hopefully if it continues the next girl to the harem isnt like Asuna's cousin or something haha
