The way the animated the fight was very lackluster, it the Light Novel it is described as literally blowing Badigadi apart, pieces of him being blown everywhere, and his flesh slowly crawling together to resurrect him.

A little skipped info. When Rudy mentioned Orsted, he also said that he wounded him with an attack. Which he did. He struck Orsted's hand and wounded it. That is what made Badigadi initiate the challenge he did "hit me with the same attack that wounded the Dragon God" Also the blue haired girl hopefully will be revealed later... 👀

They also cut a portion where he said he was barely able to scratch Orsted and he was suprised that he was even able to scratch him and asked to be hit with the same move
