There’s another thing I realized at the pre discussion that I forgot to mention in my comment last episode. I believe that when Eris left, that was the first time Rudy has ever been truly alone since he was born in this world.

Eris actually started to love Rudy in episode 8 after she came back to his room and he apologized for going too far too fast with her. There's a whole chapter in the LN that recounts Eris's thoughts and feelings throughout their journey and its incredibly insightful into her character development. Cursed fact: Eris also mentioned that Rudy is "quite robust" down below
