Season 1 and 2 have 4 arcs and a mini arc then there is a canon movie season 3,4 and 5 are the same arc what happenes after that isnt finished yet but june 2024 vol 7 came out (the last arc had 10 volumes)

I think its a great way to end this arc but then while he was walkign towards the light you hear the ending, which is sung by Haruka Tomatsu who is also the actress of Asuna. So the ending was kind of sung by her which makes this even more emotional

They really thought they both were dead, they were saying their final goodbyes

The incarnation system made asuna being able to remove her paralysis, the same system made kirito cheat death for a few seconds to kill kayaba. Since kayaba died first the game got cleared and kirito survived

asking kayaba to make it impossible for asuna to kill herself was the best move. if he hadnt done that she would be dead right now

this is where the gameverse begins, kirito wins this fight but the game isnt over. So Asuna takes the lead of the assault team and we try to clear floor 100
