I enjoy Daima so far. Like you said, it gives off a lot of og Dragon Ball vibes, which I personally dig a lot, but I can see Daima getting mixed reactions from the fandom as well. Would I watch Daima without being a huge DBZ and og DB fan first? Probably not, if I'm being honest. But so far Daima does a great job with getting me nostalgic and remembering fondly how I was mesmerized watching DBZ as a kid, and I'm certain I'm not alone in this, so maybe at least some fans will like it for the same reason.
