One of the things that this episode made me realize is that we've rarely, or maybe even never, seen Rudeus cry before. It's always been other people around him who were crying.

I find it interesting that Rudy can almost instantly empathize with a guy who suddenly donuted him.

Great episode. I'm mixed on whether they should have started it the way they did. It adds some tension till the moment happens but I think the surprise from his attack coming seemingly out of nowhere would have been more shocking. I've seen people be annoyed with Rudeus for talking as much as he does but he has no indication that Orsted is bad. From his point of view, the only thing off is the fear from the others but he isnt feeling it himself.
