I never really understood people shitting on Jimbei, he clearly has a strong connection with Luffy ever since Impel Down, so it's not like him joining up eventually was much of a surprise. I feel like he's a good addition to balance out all the crazy going on in that crew and his powers are certainly unique and resourceful.

I love the moment when Sanji is finally back on the ship getting hugged by Brook, Chopper and Nami. We had the big moment of him reuniting with Luffy earlier and the others did see each other since. But this truely feels like the resolution to him hugging them and kicking them out of Bege on Zou, bringing that full circle. This is why those three wanted to be there in particular to bring him back. And I also feel this puts these constant discussions of where will Jimbei "rank" amongst the crew in perspective. The moment Sanji is back, Jimbei is essentially immediately taking a step back and "handing things over" to Sanji again. Some people tend to not have JImbei as high up on their lists of favorites as they feel he is added in so late and doesn't fit in as well, but I always love how Jimbei picks up the dymaic between all of them so fast and essentially is ready and happy to fill whatever needs doing. He's like the cool uncle that wants to not get in the kids ways but then steps up whenever they need him.
