Asuna used the incarnation system to run at super human speed to get to kirito in time, the same system kind of let kirito fight back against the poison. Its kind of like an adrenalin rush irl, when youre close to dying you can a lot of power like in a fight to the death

not sure if spoiler or not (shouldn't be) but the light novels are more detailed about things. I don't remember exactly, but I believe the reason why Kirito wanted to stay with Asuna was because he was scared of being by himself that night after what just happened. Also its a lot more clear that they in fact did get together that night. Thats why Asuna was basically naked and covering herself with bed sheet ( I think Kelvin noticed that too) 20:45 speaking of Kelvin: 15:30 LOL
