Yeah the more I re-watch it the more I notice plotholes (where the fuck did kiritos speed regeneration go?) and other story weaknesses. But it's still a great watch imo.

I don't understand why you guys are saying they are bringing Asuna down. Being soft doesn't change what she is, like, I don't get it. I love this show, and Kirito is the MC, so of course, the focus will be on him. Just because she is badass doesn't mean she can't behave soft or vulnerable.

it is sad cause asuna is supposed to be like second in command of the guild and like super strong but then soon as the mc shows up she becomes useless and needs kirito to save her from everything

They do Asuna’s character dirty, man. I’ve heard it improves eventually, but they do her dirty.

another bit of info from the light novels that we get is they recognized a pattern of boss strength and power checks where every 10 levels the next boss would be a massive increase in difficulty. so bosses 11, 21 and so on were always the hardest fights where the bosses before and after were much easier. i don't remember exactly but this is why that small group tried to fight the boss because the commander thought they would be able to do it because of this pattern. but the anime left out this info and makes it look like kitiro nearly soloed a boss that should have wiped him out very easily.
