yeah it couldnt be that she was trying to rely on kirito to get closer to im. why else would she go tio him to see if hes alive instead of looking at her friend list and she practicaly forced him to join up with her. its the guy that taught her how to live life in the game its not like she told him of, fired him from the job and blocked his dagger when he tried to attack kirito she was never a damsel in distress, i get that a lot of people think that but its funny how all of them know next to nothing about the show

I’m with you a 100% on the weirdness of Asuna acting like a damsel in distress when she both outranks the escort and is stronger than him. SAO’s tendency to do that with her character is one of the things that bugged me on the first watch.

so in the light novels kirito destroying the weapon was explained a lot better. basically in game terms he made use of an exploit he knew about to be able to completely destroy the weapon when he is not normally supposed to be able to do that. so yes. he cheated lol.
