I kind of allways wanted to watch adventure time but also im not too big of an western show fan tbh. There is no need to worry about that.. there are a lot of great shows out there that give a great alternativ to adventure time.. im gona stay for the whole first full onepiece experience and if there are another great anime or other shows on the side i wont say no! No worries about Adventure Time. The first time I watched it, I didn't like it either. I gave it another shot years later, and it wasn't that bad, but... It's still not my favorite. I think DuckTales 2017 would be a good next fit from Gravity Falls, but for anime, I'd say Dungeon Meshi.

I just thought about this one: Shangri-La Frontier. It’s a fairly recent Shonen about a VR gamer who plays a lot of trash games deciding to play a God-tier game. I love the fights in it and sometimes I forget that they are just playing a game. It has 25 episodes AND a new season is coming out this October.

So happy you turned back to animes and we aren't going the western stuff. While gravity falls was fun cause of the conspiracy the other suggestions just wouldn't have hooked me. Already have been scared to get hyped cause of notifications and it would be for a new episode of rick and morty which I just find disgusting and not funny although what's funny that I actually like the show drawn together which I find funny but maybe it's just a nostalgia thing. As for a suggestion, maybe: Kakegurui 1st and 2nd season.

Like some people already recommended, maybe try bungo stray dogs. It's a classic at this point and has a decent fanbase, so it will probably do well enough on YT. There is some mystery to some of the characters, so you could theorize away to your hearts content. I admit I never got past season 1, but that's probably because I hyperfixate a lot and run out of steam halfway through and that's more on me than the anime...so I guess I woudn't mind (re-)watching it here.

I know you're only looking for anime recommendations right now, but would you be willing to share what it was about Adventure Time that didn't vibe with you? I rather watch you having fun than forcing yourself to finish a show despite not feeling it, so all is good and no apology needed. I'm guessing Kaiju was doing poorly on YT, because it's one of those shows that get's hyped up before release, so you have to watch and react to it while it's still airing to gain an audience with it. A few months later and people have already forgotten about it until season 2.

As for anime recommendations, I wanna recommend one of my personal favorites, “Banished from the Heroes Party: I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside.” It’s two seasons long with ~12 episodes each season. It has some action but it mainly focuses on the MC living his best, quiet life with the girl he loves.

I can understand why you couldn’t get hooked on Adventure Time at first. The early seasons are more episodic, but once the story and lore start to connect, that’s when the show hits its stride. I really hope you revisit the show in the future, but I respect and understand your decision to not react to it.
