Elizabeth is using blood, not slime by the way. as far as i know slime is always black in eminence

Of course he's reassuring her, he thinks she's just made up some Chuni BS about having special powers, just like he pretended to in his past life. As with pretty much everything else, he thinks people are just playing around with him, not that any of it is real.

Also not sure if you saw but they stated and confirmed in ep 2 and 3 that both possessed and vampires both decend from the demon diablos (aurora). So when claire got bit she then got the other half and aurora was able to manifest through claire because Claires body could handle it.
