From the last episode we kinds get that Chris' client is Eris and Eris is keeping track of Chris' progress (and run ins with Kazuma) so next time Kazums dies Eris is really going lay into him for his chest scrubbing on Chris. Even Chris was warning Kazuma about the wrath of Eris he's courting.

The Mask was most definitely powering up Kazuma, even Vanir said on a moonlit night it will increase ur magic power, blood circulation and complexion, and Kazuma kept raving on about those things lol. It still was funny to see Kazuma actually be a bad ass tho.
