MVP Indeed. Bartolomeo is one of the best things that came out of the Arc. Sure, there are some pacing issues here and there. But moments like [16:38] make it so damn worth to watch it fully for the first time! And Leo, what a G. That's my second MVP right there. The Tontatta's as whole! And it hurt my soul to see them get used and abused like that by Mingo's family. Can't wait for them all to be brought down.

The One Piece remake has been on my mind rent free ever since it was announced, One Piece could've been way waay much better if it was paced good, and the fact that all this shit pacing might be fixed, it's like a dream come true, and with WIT and Netflix animation? OOF i can only imagine the only down side is... the many years that we gonna have to wait for 😭

Dressrosa is a great arc but this pacing really does pour cold water on the hype. I’m holding out hope that The One Piece will be good, and we can have a definitive version of this arc someday 🤞🏽

That’s what I wanted to make very clear, it’s not Bellamy because I loved his character’s return, it’s the anime that made me hate screen time of a character I initially loved seeing

At this point I totally get it, I'm someone that came into the community from the manga and initially never understood why Bellamy and also often Rebecca get so much hate from the community and their stories are usually very underappreciated, and then I realized the anime in Dressrosa really got THIS bad in pacing. The most talked about thing with Rebecca/Kyros tends to be a count of how often that flashback gets shown and the kind of short and mostly to the point message of Bellamy being so desperate to impress someone he admired that he just doesn't know what else to do than to at least follow through on this one thing, gets stretched out so much it completely loses the impact. In the manga it actually reminded me a bit of Gin from way back during Baratie who also never fully could leave Don Krieg and felt it was at least his duty to stick with him at the end. It's a bit of a different take on the same "false loyalty" aspect and something that comes up as a theme in different flavours several times.
