Definitely the presentation of the talking was different. But first, we needed to know what everyone knew. We needed to see time passing. We needed to see what's going on in Tempest. And most importantly, if we hadn't seen how smoothly everything was previously going according to plan, we wouldn't have seen how a small intervention can alter the entire progression. It doesn't take much. It doesn't take an army to pose a threat. Although now the result includes armies. False impressions and rumors are all that's necessary. Still, some of what we learned in prior episodes is going to be necessary beyond these immediate conflicts. Also, I think they accerated some of the reveals.

I think its safe to assume slime will be 24episodes long like the previous seasons. if its 12 episodes i would hate to think we are going into half way point of the season with just board room meetings so far.
