Never thought I would here Elemental HERO Wildheart being mentioned in a Legend of Korra reaction but now I can cross that off my BINGO card of “…well that just happened” 😂😂😂

I like the lore and history of this season, but the character development (or lack there of) is mostly annoying. If you end up disliking how they wrote for the characters to act, just focus on the history and lore elements that we get.

I feel like a lot of this season is the creators attempting to teach the kids who grew up with avatar about their teenage feelings and emotions

I think there’s a few people who take a step back in this season, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Plenty of cool bending and funny moments to make it fine to watch. Seasons 3 and 4 are on par with ATLA.

I like the second season, don't get me wrong. But this is what I was talking about when I said Korra was not characterized very well in season 2. Especially the beginning. She just feels like a bratty, frustrating completely different person. She had some rough interactions with Tenzin in season 1, but she learned her lesson and apologized to him and even grew from that. She respected him. But in this season she treats Tenzin like garbage and is super wishy washy with Mako. It's really frustrating to have a protagonist act like this when you know that's not how they were before
