Personally, I only really liked the first half of YuGiOh (OG) on Duelist Kingdom, and loooved the original manga that didn't focus on the card game.

Robin's segment is not low budget, its just a style. The place is meant to look hopeless and and distorted. If it were a budget issue then you'd see this type of animation a heck of a lot more lol
