I think I agree with heistuen that Eren should been honest with Armin and Mikasa and they could find another way , and he shouldn't disrespect Mikasa Infront of people who cares about her like Armin , and there many possibilities of different endings if eren trusted his comrades and talk to them about the future he saw

Nah S1 Eren would have asked Armin for help, like he did in S1 because he knows he is an idiot. The Author just said his honest opinion through Eren in the end. Eren and the Author have the same power to change things how they want them to happen. But it's just sad how he could not deliver a better solution.

Well yeah. Idk if Hei understood Eren as a character. From the jump in season one, we knew Eren was a big baby. He doesn't ever change from that in this story. It's why he calls himself out in the end. He knew he was stupid and when he got the Titans' power, well. "A garden variety idiot who got power." Eren is the same from season one Eren.
