There is one small series after the first movie and then a better/longer series after that. It explains a LOT in between the 1st and 2nd movies and you get to watch them grow up. You should watch it and learn about all the other dragons!

Movie is great. But what is kinda sad is that the boys watching it in 2D. It is really ment to be watched on a 3D TV.

Ya the Dragon movies are great, as for the Netflix original How to Train Your Dragon show. They did a great job, it was made after the movies. But it takes place before movie 2, basically adds story to the 5 year gap.
