Although there are far more bigger villains in OP, I hate Absalom and Hogback the most. They are just so disgusting and feel far more real because of their motivations. One is an invisible creep that peeps on and assaults women, the other is a necrophilic creep that dug up his crush's corpse to keep her as a slave.

The anime definitely makes it look like Robin was moving slower to get the salt in the zombie mouths. I'm sure it was just a dramatic slow-mo then actual speed, but... yeah, I totally understand how it can be frustrating. On another note, I feel so bad for Cindry here.

You actually can see what Ryuma looked like when he was alive. Ryuma is actually from a one shot manga that Oda wrote before he wrote One Piece. It's called Monsters. Oda took Ryuma from this manga and decided to make it a canon part of the history of One Piece. If you are interested, there are English translations of this manga available to read.
