Something that I think I learned from the commentary (I watched this show with and without commentary growing up). He said Oshinama fighters because, unlike Ba Sing Se, he wanted to check that they were legit and that sokka actually knew about a group called the Kyoshi Warriors. 16:50 i used to love acting out the part of Azula when I was a teenager. I could do it, but not for as long as she did xD and that was before I took martial arts classes.

Loved this 2-parter so much, from Sokka and Zuko bonding, successfully getting their dad and even Suki out of prison, and the scene between Mai and Ty Lee going against Azula *finally*, after everything they had to go through putting up with Zuko's sister... It's all overall great. I honestly love the dynamics between Sokka & Zuko and Ty Lee & Mai. Something about opposite attracts, I guess. XD

As you said, only bangers in book 3. This one is no exception. Korra is definitely a fantastic continuation, I love it a lot and am happy to hear you guys will check it out it is only hindered by the fact that Nickelodeon didn't know what to do with it. If I remember correctly, they did season to season, not knowing if Nickelodeon would let them do another one, so for a long time they didn't have an overarching plan. So, still better than 90% of other animated shows, but with potential to be have been more

I’m really happy that you guys are giving legend of korra a shot, as someone who just did the same I found that most the hate it gets is unwarranted and it’s sick seeing bending in a different setting. Also it’s been a while after the competition and kelvin is still crazy shredded, good shit king.
