Sorry about that, we have been focusing on finishing mob psycho these past 2 weeks so avatar has definitely slowed down but will be back to normal from now on (with episodes 10-11 coming today/tomorrow)

When Azula shot Aang with lightning, it killed both him and the Avatar State. Killing Aang WHILE he was opening the last chakra pool had completely locked him from the Avatar State. So at this time, Aang is unable to use his trump card.
