FYI: Sentomaru is not Kizaru's nephew. The term that he uses translates to uncle but it is one that is commonly used for Yakuza bosses. It shows a high level of respect that Sentomaru has for Kizaru.

Yeah I get you but this is a in the moment first reaction without time or enough episodes to have an actual opinion, just purely based of hype. Let me remind you we said Franky might be on level with Sanji when we first met him😭it only took a couple more episodes to realise how dumb that was but hey first impressions in the moment right😅😂

Fair just felt context should be applied if power-scaling between the admirals. Seems a bit rushed to assume one is stronger than the other simply by their debut showcase when the situation is different as well as their personalities.

Yeah exactly, in the moment Kizaru comes off as this killing machine not to be rivaled with whereas when I think of Aokiji I think “that dude was chill” then I actually remember/realise the scale of his attacks lol

I get you, makes sense, just that the context is largely different. easier for his showing to look more impressive when he’s actually trying to 1 shot these fools for celestial dragons vs Aokiji who was asleep and off duty and trolling us the entire time.I just remember him 1 shot freezing an entire sea zone, that’s enough for me to know he’s about that business. They’re both op, one has shown insane speed and destruction, but the other can just 1 shot freeze anything at a whim(when he wasn’t serious)

Obviously don’t take the weak thing seriously but I would say Kizaru’s showcase seemed far more impressive to me (again this is very early on, we haven’t seen shit let’s be honest😂)

I love how Oda makes the Admirals's powers the opposite to their personalities. Aokiji, Ice powers, but has kinda of a warm heart, as he helped Robin, was a good friend to Saul and kept his promise. Kizaru, speed of light, but talks slow af and seems even a little derpy because of that.
