Man only cyberpunk (both game and edgerunners) gives you that feel of emptiness, because it's so deep, so multilayered, sad and happy at the same time. It's the people who fell victims of night city with all it's rotten to the core nature, where some just live to protect what they love, and so many fail. Truly a masterpiece, got emotional like two or three times watching these episodes

55:25 the stutters/ repetitiveness in their speech is to basically show that they don't have a steady connection. Think of it like how you lag in a video game and you take two steps back or rubberband around the map until your connection with the servers is steady. A nice creative choice. Also easier for people to identify that our characters are communicating electronically and not in person.
