This arc is in my top 5 fav arcs of One Piece. I won't say anything that will spoil, but Oda is a mastermind of "show, not tell". This episode proves it. You can rewatch this series multiple times and see the little hints of the future

I actually rank this arc pretty high, I think most people don't really like it because it's a little bit remote to one piece theme (navy, blue sea, islands, a lot of different pirates they meet etc.) but it's a solid arc with great information and history all around and very interesting devil fruit powers, and yeah, iconic moments that I so anticipate to you two to see, I know you'll be all over the place

Yeah it's understandable to feel like this arc is a little slow, especially since jaya was full of great moments at a really quick pace. That being said there are definitely scenes in this arc that are iconic, so its definitely worth the wait.

We're still early on, there's a lot that could still go down

Don’t you guys find this arc too long ?
