That is the case, Obito stabbed Madara and stole some of the sixth paths chakra back. Kakashi aeven comments about how amuch more powerful his visual prowess are now obito sixth paths chakra is combined.

It is such a blow that Kakashi looses the sharingan because of how badass it was and the sentimentality behind it, but dont sleep on him. He is might guys rival, minatos student, narutos sensei, and the sixth hokage. He is still on a totally different level as a shinobi and is plenty accomplished.

at first i thought it was a fat ass plot hole because you're not suppose to be able to use the perfect susanoo without having the EMS (eternal mongekyou sharingan.) but i figured it was because maybe obito still had 6 paths chakra lingering after he died and with 6 paths chakra you should be able to use it i think , and he gave it to kakashi . if this isnt the case then thats a big plot hole.

Ya know i just thought of this but naruto coulda hot swapped the eyes for obito before he died. Then kakashi coulda kept both. You could balance it by him only being able to use one eye at a time unless he puts himself under immense strain. After said double usage theyd force themselves for a set amount of time leaving kakashi largely unchanged execpt for new super moves. SOMEONE GET ME A PEN AND A BACKWARDS BOOK IM REWRITIING THIS SHIT π

dont try and make too much sense of the things happening after pretty much the 10tail jinchuriki thing starting happening. youll find plotholes left and right or stuff that just straight up doesnt make sense.
