–Jamie Bell–
“Come on, come on,” He whispered to himself, zipping all around the place, in search of one Bruce Banner. By now, it was clear to anyone present that something was wrong, as the employees began whispering amongst themselves, even as they continued their work.
That was second nature to them, so they could hold a conversation in a tense atmosphere and work with ease as well. He was looking for the one person who would be so much more tense that he would not be able to work, and that was Bruce Banner.
After moving through three different levels, his watch buzzed, reminding him of another minute having passed under the invisibility spell. No problem, he would have had to remove the spell if he wanted to talk to Bruce anyway.
At the edge of the line, right next to the emergency exit door, was a man, who kept his neck down, and worked on his line. With a single glance, he realised that something was wrong, and when a light shone on his general area, he recognised the skin tone and immediately began making his way to one Bruce Banner.
Another beep signalled the 9th minute having passed with less than 60 seconds of invisibility left, so he rounded around the corner, dispelled the spell, and turned around, only to see the closing door, which made a loud noise as it banged itself against the wall.
“Well, shit!” he exclaimed, running after Bruce, fully visible to everyone in the factory, many of them backing away, swearing as they saw a strange man come out of a corner, dressed in robes.
Once outside, he looked around, as he saw a group of armed mercenaries come around the corner, spotting him. He turned around and saw Bruce running in the other direction. The men, either unconcerned if they were about to shoot a potentially innocent man or very sure about that being Bruce, began raising their guns in his direction.
It seemed to happen in slow motion, as they raised the gun right in his direction, as he was in the middle of Bruce and the mercenaries. Overhead, the helicopter rotor buzzing was audible, as he took a split second decision and jumped forward, snapping his fingers, dipping into Universal Dimensional Energy, and conjuring Tao Mandalas.
There was a slight risk of exposing Kamar Taj but he was told to use all his means, to get Bruce Banner out of danger, and this was one of his means. No note from the Ancient One meant she agreed with his decision or was waiting for his to be over to send him to the Mirror Dimensions equivalent of an acid trip.
The mercenaries did not hesitate, as dozens of bullets slammed right into the Dimensional Energy shield he had conjured, instinctively dipping into his Personal stores to get that instantaneous casting speed just right.
Shells littered at his feet, as he jumped ahead, intent on dealing with them before running to get Bruce. He knew where he lived, so did these people, presumably, but he couldn’t expose his back to these people and while he was fine with revealing a little bit of Eldritch Shape Summoning to these guys, portals would be an escalation.
So much of an escalation that these guys, and probably many three-letter alphabet soup agencies, would be ordered to search for the guy with the portals, because it would be so much more versatile than just being able to punch people harder, even if that punch was capable of turning people to bloody mist.
These guys were trained heavily at that, as they immediately adapted to him, moving out of the way, as he saw multiple people converging from the rear as well, all in a bid to corner him and take him out.
Well, he was trained by Mordo, and let it never be said that Mordo was not a mean son of a bitch when it came to fighting. Relying on his expertise, hands burst out of his shields, with pointy ends, stabbing into various parts of the mercs, along with their weapons, as he systematically dismantled over 20 people all by himself.
In the end, he was surrounded by a litany of groaning, injured people and their perforated, previously top of the line weapons.
He looked up as the helicopter veered away, likely towards Bruce as he groaned, and pumped Chi into the Chi reaper, as his body was boosted in all its parameters, his vision getting a bit wonky as he began running at full tilt, still clad in his armour, which allowed him to ignore pesky little things like cement and rebar as he ran through walls.
The more than two days of constant watch came in handy as he instinctively knew the direction of Bruce’s home, where he was probably headed, as he chased after the helicopter. It was way too far up for him to do any damage to it, and he was not that good a shot to just pick up any weapon and successfully shoot at the pilot.
Hopefully, Bruce would remain unchanged until he arrived.

–Bruce Banner–
Oh no. Oh no.
“This isn’t happening,” Bruce whispered to himself as he ran, coughing, mouth dry, lungs and legs on the verge of giving up, towards his home. He had to save the data. Nothing else was of note in that place, but the data? Something that could potentially cure him in the future?
No. He couldn’t let that go to waste. Also, he could never let Ross have it. It had a lot of information that could be absolutely dangerous in the hands of someone like Ross.
Just a little more, he told himself, even as the sound of the helicopter came alarmingly close for comfort. He could feel the Beast, the green tinting his vision before it all cleared up, as he pinched himself, bit his tongue to keep himself focused.
The Other Guy would not be able to save the data. He could not save anything, really. All he could do was destroy and then go to sleep, leaving behind a mess that he had no ability to clean up.
Back when he escaped from the factory, the one job he had been able to keep for over 6 months at a time, he’d heard bullets being fired and strangely, not a single one managed to come near him.
He was certain that it would have triggered the Other Guy into coming out, based on past experiences, but he remained inside, itching to get out but not yet forcing his way out.
Good. That was good.
It meant he had a little more time to get that data out of that place, and if not possible, at least destroy it thoroughly so that Ross cannot use that to make more of him.
He might be able to live with himself if he had never cured himself, but he would never look himself in the eye if he found out that he was the cause of someone else getting this suffering and pain as well.
He tripped over a small pebble, barely balancing himself before continuing to run, the roads now little more than sand and stone, as people all around the shacks began running everywhere, the sight of a military helicopter spurring them into action, since technically all of them were illegally occupying the place.
Just then, another rock hit his foot, cutting it open as he braced himself for the fall, only for it to never come, as he felt something hook onto his waist and pull him back.
Fearing the worst, he flailed about, only to pause as he saw what looked like a glowing rope attached around his stomach.
“Gah!” He yelped as the same rope pulled him to the side, as he saw a bullet hit his previous position. No, not a bullet. A tranq dart.
The sight of that brought back bad memories since that was the last thing he saw before the Other Guy was forced to come out, destroying everything around him before leaving him naked, confused, disoriented, and in a place far away from civilization.
He had legit found himself in situations where he woke up in another country, just because of that tranq dart.
“Dr.Banner, are you alright?” The rope pulled him inside a broken down shack, where he found a strangely dressed man, asking him urgently, taking a look over to see if he was injured or not.
He shouldn’t have. None of the injuries stuck. No matter how bloodied or injured he was before the Other Guy came out, he would always wake up with a healed, if not sore and bruised, body.
“How do you know me? Who are you?” He backed away a bit, gaining distance from the odd man as the glowy rope around his body disappeared, and then he noticed the man having the same bright white orange hue around his body.
“Is that hard light?” He whispered to himself, resisting the urge to poke at the armour around the man who’d save him for now.
