Eeveelution edits update
🕑 Added 2021-12-01 22:05:47 +0000 UTCI want to start by saying that I'm really honored and humbled with how you all have loved Sylveon avatar, you all always make me push my limits and motivate me to give my best, and that is something I'm thankful for every day.
When I started this avatar I did not knew 2 things, that it will be suitable to do the other eeveelutions and that the edits would be SO REQUESTED, so I did not prepared the mesh for that, I know some of you are making the eeveelutions anyway and I’m so fucking proud of you all <3, I have to admit that you all also inspire me (you might have also noticed how shitty is it to prepare the uvs for new meshes).
I really want to have the 9 eeveelutions but I don’t want to spend an entire year making them from scratch, I don’t want to sacrifice the quality and at the same time I want to be very clear that they are edits from sylveon and not new avatars, I like being transparent.
I have been doing art for videogames (at indie level) for several years now, my pipeline was never built for easy edits for the models as it was not needed, so I have been learning this from you with all the requests and feedback, trust me, it is A BIG PRIORITY for me to keep the models easy to edit, and that requires me to improve my understanding of blender, which is the tool preferred by you all.
I want to share with you what have I been doing and how am I preparing for this huge challenge which is, making 8 edits from the same base while still making them be unique.
-I updated the mesh for arms and legs, as well as some of their proportions, while I LOVE sylveon body, for “eeveelution body base 1.1” I enhanced the digitrade detail and made the arms more cartoony and other changes, I may change the feet to have 4 beans instead of 3, it is still very likely each eeveelultion will have their own visemes.
-I standardized the uvs that will be shared by all the edits, if you commissioned a texture for sylveon, im sorry to say it will not work in 1.1, BUT, if you update the texture to this uvs, 60-70% of the texture will work in the new eeveelutions, only having to redo the changing parts which its mostly, ears and tail, for me, it means I have to redo sylveon and glaceon textures for v1.1, I don’t mind redoing stuff. (red box is the uvs that will not change).
-4 BEANS ON FEET!
-for NSFW edits, I know some of you are waiting for sylveon nsfw edits, I already have the nsfw bits (male/female) modeled and unwrapped, but I don’t want to apply them to v1.0 of the body knowing I have changed so much in v1.1.
-for everyone that got sylveon from gumroad, each new eeveelution will be a dlc, sylveon purchase is required as it is the base and all the others are just edits.
While it maybe feels I went a few steps behind, the goal is to progress faster while maintaining the quality and uniqueness to each avatar, so with this I'm aiming to save time in the long term run.
I really want to thank you all again for your amazing support, and ill keep doing my best!
Thank you once again, love you all <3

I was waiting to finish the body uv and mesh standarization, ill release glaceon with those fixes first and then ill apply the changes to sylveon and then proceed to do nsfw edits, thats the shortest path

Eagerly awaiting the nsfw update. I think the poll below speaks for itself, too. Thanks.
