Side Story Delayed
🕑 Added 2018-03-31 18:02:51 +0000 UTCThere's no helping it. I can't finish the Niers side story today. I might be able to if I needed to, but after taking stock of my options, my conclusion is that I'd better not.
My hands and head aren't exactly up to speed after writing a chapter yesterday, and given that I've written that stupid double-chapter...I'm going to have to push the Niers chapter back as a regular chapter.
Sorry. If I can explain it, it's that I didn't intend for the double-chapter when planning my schedule. I knew I had to write it, and I think it was worth doing, but it exhausts me mentally and physically for a while whenever I do it. I can manage regular chapters, but extra writing becomes somewhat impossible for me.
Also, I'm worried this Niers chapter might not be entertaining. It needs more work, I need more time, and so I'm sorry, but as someone who feels like the goose that lays (silver) eggs, I don't want to kill myself.
Silver eggs are cooler than gold. You can kill vampires with them.
Anyways, that's my decision and so there'll be a chapter on Monday that is all Niers. I feel bad, but at least we got one bonus chapter. Also, if we call this a late birthday gift to me, we'll all be even. Sorry again, and thanks for understanding!

(PS: I'm fine for those worried about my health. I just need sleep, food, and I'll be fresh as a daisy tomorrow, which might be a poor comparative depending on how many squashed daisies you see on a day-to-day basis.)

Please don't feel bad for delaying an extra chapter! You have build up enough credit that you can delay some regular updates too without feeling guilty, you're really spoiling us readers with all those extra chapters.

No worries, may be a good idea to have the special chapters posted as normal chapters especially when they are larger or multi sectioned. Relax and if you ever need a break just tell us. Unannounced hiatuses scare me but if I get a heads up about a break I'm perfectly fine

One of the main reasons I’m a dedicated fan of this series is that you take your schedule serious. If you say a chapter needs more time then it needs more time. Can’t wait for more.
Self care is most important. You've given us more than expected chapters, of course we can wait a bit for the next!
