June 2017 - Side Stories Poll
🕑 Added 2017-06-01 13:15:29 +0000 UTCHm. Looks like we've dipped below the $800 mark as of writing. So no bonus chapter for you all! I guess that might be next week. Honestly, it's a bit of a relief to me and this way I can have a short break.
Buuuuuuuut...the next month has begun, and so you all get to vote on the new side stories! Doing something new this time -- I'm offering a wider range of options, some of which aren't technically related to the Wandering Inn.
The first three stories are one-shots, although you might see characters reappear later in the story or learn something new about old characters.
Maps is...me trying to make maps. This way you're guaranteed I'll have to make some, but quality might be off. I haven't experimented with all the software yet, so this is a gamble.
As for the last, I know some people found me through The Last Turn on Erfworld. Well, I said I didn't have plans for a continuation. And I didn't. But I had an amazingly good idea I wanted to turn into a next series, so this is an offer for that. It would be quite a bit longer than 10,000 words, but this would get the ball rolling so to speak..
The last one is just for lols. I enjoy seeing people's preferences, and I've set it so you can vote for as many as you want -- that way people can order their preferences and it gets even more confusing!
Whew. Too much typing! I'm going to have a nice day off, and I'll see you on Saturday! Thanks for supporting me and hope you continue to enjoy the story!

Dang, didn't realize you also wrote stuff on erfworld! Kinda makes sense in retrospect. That used to be one of my main sources of entertainment a few months back.

Tons of thoughts -- most of them '****, I shouldn't have suggested that'. Time is killing me right now, and if you check the guestbook you can see how far behind I am on getting new entries in. 64 new Patrons... It's always a balancing act of the time I've got. If I find myself with more time to spare, that's when I'll start focusing on those extra things.

Just to check in again; did you have any thoughts from the other poll, where short side stories were shown to have the most interest? ( "Future Rewards?" Update)
Michael
I wish I could vote for more than 1 like last time. First choice is of course more stories here, then second would be another erfworld story. The last turn was what turned me on to you in the first place.
Nick Ramsey
Exactly 99%

We were so close! XD But I'm actually glad you get a day off
I like Erfworld enough to have suggested Rob doing a Dwagon flying fan-game, like the old Dragonstrike D&D, possibly with VR option. :-D He's game. *brag* Now, one year later.......

No, definitely wanted you all to see the votes. Just checking. I'd like maps, if only so I can point to it for readers. Also, I like Erfworld enough to justify writing a fanfic for fun.
seeing the examples in the creater tools posted makes me dreamy and map-hungry. It would be worth an update, since you could iterate on it endlessly. Print it and hang it on the wall, well it
Shouldn't we see the votes? So you don't bet on a dead horse. Sooo many options! I think you should definitely write Erfworld some day because it was glorious. But if I'd have such a promising IP like you, I wouldn't bother with someone else's creations, honestly. Map is difficult too, I'd love to see it, but is it worth the distraction, as you define yourself primerily as a writer? Man
Dustin S.
Yep! We can see them, too. And that'd be great to see fixed!
pirateaba
Oh, hey, there's a way to fix that. Let me just make another post...
Alberto Muñiz
At least I can see them

PS: Can you people see the votes or is it invisible to everyone but me?
Dustin S.
Frustrated that someone pulled their pledge, and trying to not think it was to abuse the system...But also glad you'll have some time off, too. Here's to hoping we get back up there and stay up there this month!!
