Side Stories Poll - January 2019!
🕑 Added 2019-01-12 16:37:26 +0000 UTCIt's uh, slightly late. But this time it's okay! Because this side story will come out as a regular chapter, which means less stress for me!
Honestly, it's better this way. Writing a side story's become harder and harder given how long each chapter is, and this way I don't have to write 3 chapters in one week. With that said, these side stores ARE transitory and some may never appear again. Others will definitely appear again and I might even write them into the story if I feel like they're necessary. But as always, what comes out when is in your hands. So vote wisely!
This month, the theme of the side story is 'a moment in time'. What happened to each character out of the dungeon? What will they be moving forwards? Have they learned anything? Vote on who you'd like to see! Your choices matter.

This one was a hard choice between the gnolls and Pawn, but I have to go with the gnoll tribes because we've so little of their internal dynamics compared to the goblins, antinium, humans, and so on.
When is Ryoko returning? Even if not in main storyline.
I was really hoping she'd show up during the dungeon crawl. Oh well.

We don't know that. Maybe any Gnoll that used the book could become a mage? Maybe 5%?

Seconding Johnathan Goldman. We cant not know Calruz' thoughts or the Gnolls reaction to their little Messiah.
I really like that these are regular chapters now. I felt a little guilty before. I miss the morally and genderly ambiguous skelly also and hope to see her again.
pawn is too interesting, please even if it doesnt win include some mention of what would have happened.

How exactly is 'Minotaur in a cell' and 'gnolls and magic' both sidestory options? Mrsha and Calruz are both too important as characters for their stories to not be told. These sidestory options should stick to actual side characters.
