Weekly Report and some Explanations

Hey, guys! What's up?!
So. First, the explanations. As some of you know, especially those following up on the Discord server discussions (which I highly recommend :D), I've had some health issues lately. I spent weeks in the Hospital, first because of a family member in need, then because of me. And while I'm no longer in the Hospital, I'm still in recovery. There are a few steps until I'm fully healed. Like Physiotherapy. Medicine. Rehabilitation. Long story short, there are still a few steps until complete recovery.
Having said that, I'm fine. I'm not in my most productive state. Sometimes, I'm still lethargic because of episodes of breathing difficulty. But I'm recovering and feeling great (despite all this). Thanks, everyone, for being so understanding and supportive. And thanks, everyone, for the kind messages.
Changing topics, let's talk about the game and the Patreon page. I will start posting weekly reports on how the game's been progressing. I want to do this every Sunday. And the reason for this, the two reasons actually, is first to help me start being productive again. My health issues have abruptly interrupted my workflow, and my condition has made it challenging to be effective (Breathing difficulty resulting in Sleep Deprivation and Somnolence, Lethargy, etc.) So, I think this is a lovely way to keep me focused, energetic, and dynamic.
The second reason is that I want to give my followers and supporters more information about what I've been doing. And that's what I'll be doing right now.
So sit right there, and let's talk!
Weekly Report (And all the other weeks prior to this... Ops)
Okay. This week, I might've made a decision that COULD be a bit unpopular. I've decided to rework some scenes. Make it a bit more cinematic. And don't get me wrong, I think this is me improving the scene's quality. The unpopular part is... It takes time, and everyone is already hyped for the update (as am I... Sheesh...).
But the thing is... I really think this update can shine a bit more. I believe it hasn't come to its full potential yet. So, I've decided to give it a bit more polishing. Better dialogue lines. I am making the music sync better with the renders and improving the SFX.
To counterbalance the hype, I'm not promising any triple AAA stuff. I'm just an indie dev working with passion. That only gets me so far. :P
Alright, let's talk about the highlights of this update.
Isabella
Well, Isabella has been lovely to work with. She was supposed to be just a sexy nurse in the prologue and was much more fleshed out than I had initially planned. I love having those insights while I'm writing.
That's interesting because while many plots have already been planned since the beginning of the game, how they occur changes drastically based on the character's personality.
For instance, Isabella was supposed to help MC after he got shot alongside sophia. They still did that. But it was SO MUCH more interesting having Isabella as an equal to Sophia. And their conversation, sharing their experiences. That felt a lot more natural. And I really liked that change.
Some hints about her past are shown in this update, but not too much. Some will wonder why she changed from her previous job as a surgeon and became the attending doctor at the college. And some will make a few connections in this update. Seeing fans theorize about it on our Discord server is really fun! :P
And you know what? They do have some chemistry! >:)
