Hunter Benjin is a 19-year-old Explorer. He quickly made a name for himself after Having Already Discovered 69 different exotic plants that weren't Known to Mankind yet. There's no challenge too great for him, no mountains too high, no Jungles too Deep. He basically Laughs in the face of danger. All of These adventures & experiences are documented by Hunter himself in "Hunter's adventure log" This time around, in adventure log part 227, Hunter explores the dense Jungle of Hornyplantusus in search of an extraordinary Creature. There are rumors of a Huge Tentacle plant monster forcing itself upon anyone who dares disturb it... (listener) When the inevitable encounter happens Hunter tries to make friends with it, but it clearly has other plans~ π
OH Boy, this audio was challenging to make! But I wanted to make something like this soo bad for so long now. the first challenge was writing the story out in a way that gives the speaker character to have an actual reason to encounter the tentacle monster. I also had to find a way where I, as the speaker, could make it clear what was happening at any point without it sounding out of place. (one does simply not talk and describe a lot while getting assaulted by a huge monster in normal circumstances heheh) Sooo that lead me to Hunter! I thought a Curious explorer boy would make the perfect vessel to bring this scenario to life with! :D The next challenge was the slimy tentacle sound effects.. I could lie and say that I professionally recorded an octopus by putting it in front of a microphone but... The truth is... I bought a gallon of Lubricant, got into my swimming shorts, hopped into the recording booth, and wiggled around a bit~ π
I had fun tho lol.
I sincerely hope you enjoy the audio and that my intense method acting was worth it ^^
Hope you like it!!

I am of the opinion that audios where you get to enjoy yourself will end up turning out to be some of the best! I can say this audio further proves that theory! I love the immersion building sounds, choice in character, and that you definitely knew what you was going for with the tentacle monster! I sincerely hope you loved every minute of dancing around in swim trunks and lube! I also look forward to you exploring this idea again in the future!

I'm sorry but the mental image of you getting in swim trunks and dumping a gallon jug of lube on yourself is hilarious
