I'll be posting a journal entry soon at the $3 level - after thanksgiving though! I'm responsible for cooking most of the dinner (I started last night). I'm making turkey (brined in buttermilk), mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. My sister is making berry pie and stuffing. Jamiya is bringing himself haha - and a bottle of wine.
So, a small thanksgiving, but it's still a lot of food to cook.
I hope you are all having a decent year - I know not everyone is celebrating this year. But even if your thanksgiving is watching television and eating chinese food or something (not a bad idea really), I hope it is a good day :)

I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't see your children and grandchildren - I think this year has been rough for a lot of people on this front, and hopefully it won't continue through the next year. I can't imagine that all of the social isolation is good for people.

I and a dear friend who has also been self isolating shared a thanksgiving dinner, I smoked a Turkey Breast for something other than the usual oven roasted bird and it came out nice and moist. IT was odd not having my Eldest Daughter and my Grandchild here let alone missing my Son for the second Thanksgiving in a row, damn cancer sucks. Last three years have been surreal. Your work is one of the few bright spots young lass. Be it in front of or behind the camera, your work is a delight for the visual senses.
