I'm going to be updating a lot this weekend on my site - with journaling, photos, and my new little project. A quilt! I'm currently working on completing my first quilt, and I'm very excited about it. I will post photos so you can see once it is completed.
I've done knitting, embroidery, and now this quilt in the past few months. I finally got set up with my sewing machine today, and it was much less daunting a task than I thought it would be. I have a few dresses I'd like to make as well for summer - one in sea foam green linen and one in an azure blue.
And I will be talking in my journal entry about new life updates - some are very exciting and I'm looking forward to it (I'll be able to do more outdoor self portraits by this summer!).
So yes, look for those things this weekend!
It was beautiful here today - 61 degrees and sunny. I quilted in the morning (while watching The Lord of the Rings), did a photoshoot, more quilting, went for a walk and had an apple cider while reading in the park, more quilting, and talked to my mama on the phone. I hope you all had a wonderful day too!
