Hazelnut is a bit conflicted, torn between her real love for Sunrise and her expectations for Sunrise and herself... There will be more revealed in time, of course, but as Sunrises mom said... She doesn't know why Hazelnut needed Sunrise to throw herself at jobs she hates. i think because the reality wasn't what Hazelnut wanted, she eventually came to blame it on Sunrise, centered on Sunrise's whimsy

I feel like I should follow why Hazelnut would be a martyr, but something's just escaping me. Is she a martyr because she brought her fate of breaking up on herself? I mean, I don't have a perfect picture of a timeline, but it seems like they were together for quite a while before Hazel ended it, so it seems like she didn't break up over nothing. It wasn't a great reason to break up, either, but I get the idea that she kept it up while she could.
