Similar... but it wasn't as fletched out as of today. So you didn't have any GP Files but PDFs. There already were some playalongs but just in Videoform and included in a video where he was talking - so much kind of his YT videos. The Sweep Mastering Course then was pretty much what you have here on Patreon. Both Courses had the twist that you couldn't just go on all exercises but you had to unlock it on a weekly basis. Guess this was for making sure you don't rush it aaaaand you didn't do all the things, save it somewhere und refund it :P

Dudes and dudettes...this is a pretty standard thing with online lessons. You get your lessons, but there are also supplemental things for everyone, that you can buy at a discount because you currently take lessons. Everyone I've ever taken lessons with online has done it.

Y’all must be joking. I’ve seen courses like this for $500 and other’s courses are $75/month. I’m going to give it a shot. All I have to do is not go out and party a few weekends. Thanks Bernth.

Imo, i dont think its good idea to offer expensive courses to people outside of the Patreon community. Youtube should be for the free advice and to get more ppl onto the patreon, and the patreon should be for the ppl who care just that much more and are willing to pay You monthly... what these "outside of patreon classes" do, is just make everyone in the Patreon community feel like they're missing out on a REALLY beneficial course and if we want that information you have to have the cash to pay to play. Also feels like it somewhat diminishes the quality of the patreon subscription.

Oh, come one "Team Bernth"... This is simply "The Matter Of Principle". Such an answer is NOT an answer... We are here, paying what we need to pay and NOT just to buy lessons, but admire Bernth, supporting his activities... The video says "brutally honest"... well, if you want to be brutally honest, just simply write: "for us it is more important to increase our income than building a community". Are you really kidding? You offer "outsiders" access to the classes! YES! This is trully great! BUT we are not the outsiders... We are the ones, who gives the building block to this Patreon site... Answer like that is something like spitting to the face... again, this is not a "hate comment", neither a "negative spiral"... just a brutally honest consumer feedback...

Being honest here... I started with 10 Steps to Modern Shredding and your Sweeping Masterclass before even joining your Patreon channel. That's some years in the past now. I really enjoyed it and I am still enjoying it. Also I totally practiced especially that damn sweeps. But until today I'm not very good at it. (So looong after even the masterclass). And overall I am still not a very good guitar player. There is just not that much talent on my side. Nethertheless how good a teacher can be I guess. But I am still interested in this new course of yours but even with the 50% off... it's still a bunch of money. Can't say if it's worth without knowing the exact content but figuring out my overall process over the last years I can totally tell it's way too much for ME to invest, since I doubt I would really improve through this... + at the moment I have some trouble with money affairs so I totally have to skip on that, I'm afraid. Also I can't remember paying as much as for this new course for the two other ones and they weren't even on (a HUGE!) discount... I know... everyhting gets more expensive these days and you will have your reasons for the pricing... but sadly my income just can't keep up with that. And I guess it's not just me. On our last gigs we had to make the tickets more expensive cause of the higher costs for us as a band and the risk for money loss if not enough tickets would be bought... and guess what? Few and fewer people came to our gigs last time we even had a loss in money... hard times, really.

It is TOTALLY strange... really dont understand... we are here since a while, paying you months by months, and dont understand why to pay extra for a course you used to provide FREE for members here... In my eye, it is a wrong direction, wrong decision, or just a simple mistake... it cant be serous in this community...

Sorry, dude, but just no. I might get some hate for this, but if you're already a paying member, then it's not really understandable that you have to pay again for a course that, in my opinion, is still pretty expensive even with the 50% discount. Of course you have to recoup the costs and you want to make a profit, but man, that really doesn't feel good.
