Turns out I've been doing economy picking this whole time with out realizing I wasn't alternate picking every note

Hey Gary, happy to hear that you like that one :) I'm pretty much always using the Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Jazz III Carbon - they're 1,38 mm and I love the extra grip (especially in a sweaty live situation)!

Another great lesson. Been practicing this for at least an hour now. A quick question, what size pick do you use? I usually play Dunlop Gator Grip .71 but go to thicker picks for when playing some heavier rhythms.

Great to hear that you are working with economy picking Hector! It's a pretty exciting topic for me too since I just started implementing it in my playing :) I will work on it just a little bit more and record a lesson with some licks where using this technique makes the most sense - thanks for the feedback!
