This is a really cool technique and I love using it, as you can see in the video it allows for some pretty crazy riffs and patterns not usually associated with our chosen instrument.

Thanks for sharing this! It definitely takes a while to get used to it, after experimenting with different areas of your thumb (where the string comes in contact with it) and different intensities with the 'Pop' motion, you will get there for sure :) Please make sure not to hurt yourself, this really shouldn't be painful!
When i slap with the thumb, its pretty quiet i have to use a lot of energy to get a clear tone out of it. Also when i do the pop technique i hurt my nail... i feel like im doing something essentially wrong here
