I don't really make these sorts of updates here but I might as well this time.
🕑 Added 2024-09-01 03:16:15 +0000 UTCuhh so this has been a really rough one. I had a decent start to the month before the move, but then as moving house often does, I was left very drained.
Then right out the gate before we'd even settled in we had family staying with us (family that cannot know of my work (which I could sort of work around but fuck me, the morale drop was palpable.)), & then of course I started sleeping poorly and not eating as well.
It got to feeling like I hadn't really done anything but stress about work and the move for a fucking age & idk, I just couldn't do the end of the month crunch this time. I'm tired & I wish my job was easier. Sorry about that.
feel alright atm I'm just emotionally fucking exhausted. I want to fuck around for a bit without feeling like every moment I spend doing something other than draw for work is a sin for which I shall be paying a great price (which, perhaps unsurprisingly, is not as motivating as you might imagine...
I'll try & make next month better.

take care, I really love your art and would prefer to wait for much better drawn art than having you feel stressed about putting stuff out there while dealing with IRL and feel constrained and pulled apart from fan expectations and irl stuff/duties. The latter often takes priority and we can all empathise with this. In my view, art drawn with intention and want/desire is much better in general while you feel comfortable doing so and in a better place. Hope things get better for you
