Devlog: August Report

Hey Patrons!
I can't believe that we are already on the last day of August - why does time have to fly so fast? I hope you guys had a great summer vacation despite all these difficulties we have to face in the current world state. This year, the weather was great on my end, so I took this opportunity to spend some time outside, but sadly, not in the company of my friends.
As for my monthly report, I'm happy to say that the new build is progressing very smoothly - at the time of writing this post, half of the new content is already coded in, and all that's left is for me to write the last 1/3 part of Kegar's story and draw a new CG. While I don't want to put a deadline on myself this time, I can assure you that we're not that far from the new release, so stay tuned!
However, this new part of the story is not the only thing I've been working on - step by step, I'm also slowly getting ready to update the character sprites. Truth be told, I'm still unsure what to do here and my options are:
- to refine the existing sprites and add more clothing options,
- to redraw all of them in better (CG like) quality,
- to ask another artist for cooperation.
At some point, once I have more assets, I'll make a post dedicated to that matter, but for now, please let me know what you guys think about the idea.
