Unfortunate Announcement
🕑 Added 2024-06-06 15:07:56 +0000 UTCHey everyone. Unfortunately I did something stupid and tried to save a stray cat and got bit. That incident occurred on Sat the 1st. I've been in the hospital since Sunday trying to fight off this infection/swelling going on in the finger of my drawing hand.
I was hopeful at first that we'd avoid surgery, but today we'll be moving forward with that. I paused Patreon today again. Right now I'm very depressed about the whole situation. I'm uncertain how well I'll be able to work consistently after this hopefully blows over. If it's just cleaning out the bad germs maybe everything will be alright. I won't be surprised if I'm unable to keep up my previous pace, so I don't know if it would be for the best if I close my Patreon, but continue my comics at a slower pace.
Sorry I can't be clearer. The situation has been a whole bait-and-switch with them telling me I should be good to go the night before, but then changing their mind in the morning. My finger is still really bad, so there is not bullshitting on their part, and I'd rather not risk losing my whole hand.
If anyone wants gross pictures of my hand telegram me and I'll send pics when I'm out of the hospital. lol
PLEASE let me know if you've been accidentally charged at all and I will fix it.
