I’ve had a problem with redcaps since i was a child because i watched a movie when i was young called “Ronja Røverdatter” and in it the protagonist gets attacked by redcaps who try to eat her shit was scary for small baby me

If I remember correctly the mythology of red caps have it that they need to keep their caps red with the blood of enemies otherwise they’ll die which is interesting
